That particular rifle is incredibly picky about ammunition and magazines. I suspect the receiver is out of spec, but I don't have the tools to test my hypothesis, let alone fix it.

Humm what tools do you need to fix your rifle and I will see if I can get them.

Given it's an AK, a hammer and anvil would be appropriate.

But that's more effort than I want to invest in said rifle. It's already hit the point of diminishing returns.
