It's kind of a catch 22 - if we remove all of the sexiness and femininity then it's like saying we can't take her seriously unless she eschews all things typically seen as feminine (which purports harmful stereotypes), and on the other hand, the sexy and intelligent femme fetale is a misogynistic creation so...we are kind of stuck

That's my point, actually. That before you even know the woman, she fits the femme fatale visual identity.

True, but I think that the more you see of her and her character, the more that archetype breaks down (at least from what I've seen in woeics)

Part of the issue (at least in woeics) is that we only see things from Ivy and Zack's POV. We don't get to see how Carmen plans her heists or her developing the clue for Ivy and Zack

Emma is right, and what she says support the fact that much of what @Chase wants as 'proof' is already alluded.
