Halloween '91 we set records... 18" of snow in less than 15 hours, I was out in it... knee-deep at 8 years old, I only saw one other kid out... I was still munching on that haul for like two years
Hehe... keep in mind that's IRL... I have no problem going out underdressed in cold weather ((IRL: the story behind my immunity to cold is far from PG-13)). "munching on that haul" means I still had candy from that night for that long, given the "average" child's consumption of candy (as it was when I was a kid)
@Chase , it's fine... if Morgan wants to interrogate me, I can answer everything. @Morgan , ask what you will... I'll answer anything you want to know.
Depends on the candy... some (if the ingredients don't last) have about a year or so lifespan. Personally, I've seen Tootsie Rolls almost two years past their date that were still edible.
Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)
Hey hey! Carmen Sandiego got a mention on Jeopardy last night!! Also I didn't know Carmen and Barbie used to be friends. LOL. Post by @fycarmensandiego · 1 video
However, I've found it something with a software company called SoftKey International in which they did trade name the Learning Company after taking it over in 1995 and made a worst deal with Mattel in 1999.
