"Technology I wish I had earlier in my career" is a line I heard often before I left my old firm. They were bankrupt within a year of my departure. If one does not embrace the changes of the industry, one gets left behind.

I'm glad to see there's some universal truths despite us coming from such different industries.

What kind of technology advances were you wanting to see?

Jane Austen once wrote "It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a great fortune must be in want of a wife." That is certainly not the only truth that is universally acknowledged.

Can't say I've ever read Jane Austen.

I did not much care for her when I had to read Pride and Prejudice in high school, but I revisited the work a few years ago and found it to be quite enjoyable.
