Baseball goes Crazyball!?

Now before anymore fusion shenanigans happens let's line up they're going to start the National Anthem soon. The detectives proudly and thieves begrudgingly begin taking their positions for the opening ceremony.

The announcers start talking to the fans seated down and the home viewers, "Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the first ever ACME vs. VILE Exhibition! This is Greg Lee and Kylie Griffin We're joining you live from Dodger Stadium and not just because VILE insisted on it!" The crowd laughs as the announcers continue, "When this game was announced people couldn't believe it Kylie. Kylie replied in a dry joking tone, "Yeah Greg, people would get to see VILE steal bases and not their wallets."

Greg then said, "Joining us as umpire is a good friend of ACME; Under-Dog!" The crowd cheers as Under-Dog takes the field. Along with him Rusty's kids run out and start waving to the crowd. Kylie salvaging the situation said, "And joining us unannounced is Rusty's kids Their dad runs a baseball training camp and his famous baseball store; Rusty's Real Deal Baseball Store. It brings back memories days gone by in a modern way."

Greg then said, "And now ladies and gentlemen the national anthem." *The anthem is sung*

Greg and Kylie then shouted, "And now let the game begin!" Tenchi reluctantly paced toward the pitchers mound and looked at the catcher Zack who was glad it wasn't Ivy since she would try to hit him with the ball sometimes. Tenchi's glasses showed baseball relevant information on its hud display and First to bat was Touriste Clase who yelled in a very unconvincing manner, "I'm sending this ball around the world!" He held up his bat modeled after a tourist brochure stand and dug in. Tenchi unfazed threw his first pitch the fastball screamed into the catchers mitt.

The umpire signalled while yelling, "Strike one!" Tenchi then threw a ground ball, that went underground before popping back up to hit inside the strike zone. Touriste swung hard and missed completely. Under-Dog, "Strike two!" Touriste screamed, "Is that even fair!?" The referees reminded him his bat was not regulation and brochures were falling from it. Zack signalled a pitch and Tenchi then threw a world ball, the baseball turned into a holograph of a globe with the baseball at the core. Touriste swung so hard he spun around he then stumbled off the plate as the umpire yelled, "Strike three you're out!"

Next up was Double and he wasn't thrilled to see Tenchi, they had formed an unfriendly rivalry over... someone; as well as their fighting skill and as she was watching in the stands he really wanted to impress her. Tenchi threw a fastball and Double swung hitting the ball into left field. He managed to make it to second base. Tenchi looked upset but not too much as he focused on the next batter, Lars Vegas his bat was a neon light inspired eyesore to say the least. And even worse it promoted gambling to minors something Lars found quite amusing. Tenchi threw a curveball making Lars hit nothing but air, then a call ball which yelled "Hey Lars!" as it whizzed by.

Lars scowled at Zack who he knew signaled for such a pitch. Lars hit the next pitch Tenchi threw; but it went foul. Lars yelled, "The odds are not in my favor! That's probably a loaded ball!" Unshaken Tenchi decided to stir things up with his famous Screw Ball hurtling in a controlled spiral pattern of wide and tight spirals it was a very versatile pitch that could be thrown straight or as a curve ball. Lars swung hard and missed, the umpire yelled "You're out!"

Next up was Trouble; and this is what Tenchi had been waiting for. He knew their team tactics well and knew that they were planning to use their twin strategy to score runs. If one of them is on 1st or 2nd base and the other gets a hit, then the one on base gets to move to the next base but can't pass 3rd. But if Double is the one on base they get a multiply effect. So if Trouble managed to hit a double instead of stopping at second he would get a +2 base bonus and get to cross home plate giving VILE two runs. At which point they would proceed to start pointing and laughing at Tenchi. But he and Zack had a plan and knew if either one is struck out and one is on base he's out too.

Tenchi threw a brake ball, it came in like a fastball but then dropped speed to a slowball causing Trouble to swing early. Next Tenchi threw a Jokeball It told many bad jokes on the way in causing Trouble to lose focus and miss. Trouble screamed, "I don't care why a chicken would cross a road!" Then Tenchi threw the ball he was saving to impress... her the Triple Trouble Ball. It created two fake baseball images and Trouble had to guess correctly; he shouted, "Ha! You fool! You think you can trick me with that!" Trouble centered on a ball he was sure was real and swung... but it wasn't. The umpire yelled, "Strike three your... both out!" Double was furious at his brother for missing he caused both of them to get out on such an easy ball to hit.

Greg commented, "Well baseball fans I'm sure this is a first VILE got 4 outs and have to take field positions." Kylie added, "This is gone from Baseball to Crazyball Greg anything goes!" Double walked past Tenchi realizing he knew of their plan. He glared at Tenchi while Tenchi smirked and caused his visible tooth to sparkle in response. Vic angered screamed into a bullhorn, "What the heck!? This tense over dramatic crap can't happen until the sixth inning minimum! I demand a replay!" Kylie interjected saying, "There's no replays in Crazyball Vic though there is a rewind ball!"
