Hey, let's get this rolling again. In this thread let's group write a story 10 words at a time and see where it goes. It can get crazy, but let's see if we all are capable of sticking to a plot.

...oxygen and hydrogen through a well studied technique called electrolysis...

(I don't know how medieval lore turned into electrolysis, but...)

...Armed with this audacious knowledge, he created a machine that...

...could ignite and discharge the hydrogen into the realm of...

...SPACE! Creating a vortex that descends into the space-time continum...

...the man attempted to scour all of time and space...
