[This is a Valentine's Day story with a little crossover surprise guest for Jade]

Prologue

Jade Ezell's house

Jade's mind: *As Jade is depressed over what's going on* I can't believe ACME is going to make changes all over the world, Chief Wells supports law enforcement agencies all over the world by using brutal tactics and strategies against those who were criminals or any unarmed or illegal citizens, my mother is right about one thing though an advice she warned me...Never cry or fight against them show or tell them the truth about me or face the consequences from them.

*As the doorbell rang and after Jade look at the peephole, she sees no one, but she has to open the door to make sure there's no one around and then she saw attached on the front door are three roses [one red, one yellow and one pink] and an envelope that has her name on it*

Jade's mind: *as Jade unattached the small bouquet and the envelope* Who would give me flowers, it's not even Valentine's Day which is a few days away...*Jade heads back to her room and open the envelope...turns out to be a Valentine's Day Card but it's blank not anyone thanks to Jade's UV pen light... the message is: Roses are Red, Violets are Blue...these roses are fake that's why we have make them for you, each rose contains something important do not open each one before or on Valentine's Day do it after, understand and take care*

Jade's Mind: I've figured an ACME agent have some help make these flowers to hide something important from anyone finding at least I've better do as my 'secret admirer' said on the card.

Chapter One...Lunch with Sonic (I don't own Sonic the Hedgehog whatsoever)

Jade's House

Jade: *voice only* Wow! *While looking at the ad for Rod's Diner after checking the mail and saw that Rod's Diner has a new owner and offer the same food but with a twist and there was only one coupon and clips it with the scissors for a free malt with a purchase of a lunch special, however it's going to expire on Valentine's Day* This is going to be a good place for lunch and better get going.

*Her Padphone beeps as she returns to her room and saw the message from Sally Acorn*

Jade: *to herself* Thanks for the message, Sally! *The doorbell rang as Jade grabs her purse after she put on her socks and shoes and saw Sonic the Hedgehog dressed in cowboy hat and shirt [Just like in the movie Sonic the Hedgehog the one with Jim Carrey as Eggman, I don't own the movie whatsoever] through the peephole*

Sonic: Hey, Jade, going somewhere?
Jade: Yeah, going to have lunch at Rod's Diner.
Sonic: Where's that diner?
Jade: Next to the library, I'm going to Greenbelt Park to get there.
Sonic: Allow me to take you there. *As he grabs Jade's hand and speed off*
Jade: *yelled* SONIC!!! TAKE IT EASY!!!!


Rod's Diner [Fictional place]

Waitress #1: *voice only* Our lunch special of the day is spinach and blueberry salad with grilled chicken strips.
Jade: *voice only* Sounds good to me I'll have that and I've got a coupon here for a free malt with that purchase.

Inside the Diner

Waitress #1 [brown-haired, hazel eyed]: *after grabbing the coupon from Jade* Ah, brilliant what flavor?
Jade: Peanut Butter, please.
Waitress #1: And oh my, you look familiar...are you?
Sonic: Yes, ma'am, Sonic the Hedgehog!
Waitress #1: Oh, may I have your autograph, it's for my son.
Sonic: Not with that notepad you don't.
Waitress #1: I met later on after lunch.
Sonic: Sounds fair, ma'am, just give me a chili dog and a cola, please.
Waitress #1: You got it! *As she walks back to the kitchen and there was the owner of Rod's Diner*


Jake: What's going on with you?
Waitress #1: Nothing much, but *as she shows Jake the coupon*
Jake: Oh, did you ask one of customers if one of them orders our lunch special.
Waitress #1: *as she pointed her finger at Jade* She did, the other order a chili dog.
Jake: *as he recognizes Jade and Sonic* Well I'll be surprised.

Rudy Nuff (a bald-headed, dark-eyed and bearded male dressed like a roughneck from Pokémon and the pun name [Rudy Nuff] means rude enough, I don't own that pun name nor from Pokémon whatsoever) after pushing the door in front of an old couple and sits on the stool: Hey, can I get some service over here, please?

*Another waitress (blonde-haired, green eyed) came and very scared*
Waitress #2: Welcome to Rod's Diner and...
Rudy: Oh, just get me, a mug of root beer and a plate of liver and onions.

*Waitress #2 scared and ran back to the kitchen*

Rudy: *to the other customers* What are you all looking at?

Sonic: *quietly to Jade after they saw what happened* Who is that?
Jade: *quietly to Sonic* Uh oh, that's Rudy Nuff, I heard a rumor that he's an independent thief whose never gets recruited by Carmen Sandiego at all.
Sonic: *quietly to Jade* Why?
Jade: *quietly to Sonic as Rudy came to them* He's very rude and always give the police a bad migraine when he gets away without taking anything after he trashed the place.

Rudy: Hey, what are you two whispering about?
Jade: Oh nothing!
Sonic: Nothing at all! *Rudy grabs Sonic* Hey, jerk, let me go!
Jade: *to Rudy as she stands up* You're embracing us and the customers now put him down.
Rudy: With pleasure, lady! *As he throws Sonic but, Rudy made a mistake when Sonic bounces from the wall like a rubber ball and knock him down on the floor, but he stands up* Why you?!?!

*Jade uses a bottle of ketchup and a bottle of mustard at Rudy's face by squeezing them and he screamed*

Sonic: Way to go, Jade! * And Sonic kick Rudy out of the diner after Jade opens the diner and fall unto an animal control truck*

Rudy: I ought! *All of the sudden dogs growled at him, and he screamed after he turns around as animal control truck drives away*

Back at Rod's Diner

Waitress #1: *as she serves the food for Jade and Sonic* I hope that man [Rudy Nuff] didn't bother the both of you.
Sonic: Not at all, ma'am. *As he takes a bite of his chili dog*
Jade: Now everything's back to normal for everybody's sake.
Sonic: *as Jake came* This chili dog is good but weird.
Jake: Well Sonic I have to change everything after my dad died; I just want to make the food healthy without any processing, artificial flavors, colors or even preservatives around that's why I make it good.

*After paying their meal at Rod's Diner*

Sonic: Would have thought of that idea?
Jade: It's because of people who have problems with their own health.
Sonic: Like you?
Jade: Exactly, Sonic, I always read the ingredients carefully before buying.
Sonic: I understand and I put something in your purse, whatever you do, give to ACME whenever they need you, mind if I take home.
Jade: Sure, Sonic!
Sonic: *as he grabs Jade's hand again* Hold on!
Jade: Here we go again! *As Sonic uses his speed, Jade screamed while taking her home*
