To be precise, I googled "Ikea supercollider" and got a Futurama video clip. Then it was a matter of looking up the list of Futurama characters on Wikipedia and ctrl-F'ing "captain."
But in fairness to myself, once we learned that it wasn't not not a regular ship, I immediately googled "science fiction cartoons," which of course brought up Futurama, so it was in my mind anyway.
