Last night for the hey of it I used ComicFury's internal search engine using Carmen Sandiego as what I typed in. In truth I wasn't expecting results, maybe at the least Iron and Steel might show up. It didn't, but a different comic named Samba did. Samba was a short lived fan comic last produced in 2009. The thing was well illustrated and in description claimed to be a cross between the CS fandom and Lupin the 3rd fandom.

That sort of crossover doesn't surprise me at all because an artist / author on DeviantArt claims to have a fan fic underway doing just that but using the Netflix version as a basis. But back to why I started this thread. Because it was around so briefly, so long ago. Is knowledge of it's existence, news to everyone else as well?

Welcome, it didn't take me long to go through it in it's entirely. Given it's art level, I'm a little shocked it's author gave up on it so fast without an explanation.

Also as for that other person crossing the fandoms mentioned together. I encouraged them to join this forum. They seemed eager to do so and even told me they wanted to pick ACME as a side when I mentioned how the forum worked.

And Lupin III and Carmen crossover works because the weight of the Lupin III series carries. Basically Lupin would be out thiefing Carmen in the end since he has detective level problem solving skills and is also a thief and because of how he adapts to situations. For example he and his team would see Carmen stealing really big things and her saying he couldnt out steal her. Then Lupin would say “Well let’s just steal what she’s stealing!” They would infiltrate VILE become part of the team that Carmen was using to steal something then while stealing it they just runaway with it themselves. So basically they would use Carmen’s plan to steal in order to steal from her because Lupin would realize she wouldn’t expect that.

Hello ladies and gentlemen.

I am the artist for which Systemcat has mentioned. The fic in question is titled "Rouge and the Wolf".

It will be set 3 years after ACME captured the last of the VILE escapees. There are still other cells and organizations out there who value artifacts of the past. They are on a different level then those of VILE, so Carmen will need help from an unlikely friend.

I am still in the planning stages but I have a few pictures to give you guys an idea of what to come.
