There was a branch of the ACME Detective Agency the main headquarters lost track of a few decades ago, This is branch 0 located somewhere in the United States of America.
Rosemary Watson was drinking a cup of hot cocoa in the cafe, her green eyes watched as Valentino triumphantly dragged in 5 large pizza boxes. “I brought lunch for everyone,” He boasted as he placed them down on the empty cafeteria line.
“Our hero,” Rosemary chuckled as she sipped the slightly cold chocolate. “Lunchtime!!” He screamed as if he was a mother bird returning with worms. Rosemary dropped her mug and it shattered across the tile floor. “Damn it.” She cussed as she went to find the elusive broom and dustpan.
Valentino quickly set up a plate for Rosemary, he hid it under a closed case file as the others trampled in and ate more than their share. Valentino and his twin brother ate in the back protecting Rosemary’s pepperoni pizza from Maxine.
Maxine was the local kleptomaniac from a homeless shelter, no one knows how long she’s been squatting and stealing from them. Her grey eyes was narrowing at the poorly hidden pizza
She was attempting to swipe it, and Valentino managed to push her over and she crawled like a baby away.
“Geez, who hired her crazy ass?” Val asked his brother. Vincent who just drank a whole 2 litera root beer.
“No idea.” He mumbles as he leans against the wall. Rosemary frowned when she returned as Peter turned the pizza boxes into a fort. She almost teared up until Val called her over. She trotted over happily as he offered her the treasure.
