Bad news, gumshoes! Better throw out that new calendar, because 2027 has come a year early. Some old acquaintance has stolen 2026! All over the world, people are waking up to find that their New Years’ Resolutions meant nothing in the eyes of Carmen’s calendar crook. Get out there and find that year!

Yesterday, while watching a streamer, I learned something cool about the Eiffel Tower. The 72 names engraved on the Eiffel Tower belong to French scientists, engineers, and mathematicians who supported the building process. These golden letters are located on the first level (the lowest platform) of the tower, just beneath the balcony that runs around the structure.

Other things I learned about it: The stairs only go up to the 2nd floor. After that you have to take an elevator. The original spiral staircase was sold for scrap.
