  • *does little research, and found that Sweetest Day originated in the Midwestern US--Cleveland, Ohio to be exact--in October, 1921. Some people may say the day was only created to sell more ?and ? but any day that reminds us to tell people we care about them is a good thing. Happy Sweetest Day to all my friends at ACME and VILE.* ?

Julie *opens the box* carefully and takes out an empty 25.4 fl. oz. Martinelli's ? Sparkling ???? with strands of small white lights suspended inside, and an on/off switch on the top.* She says,"Oh, that's really clever." ? ? ❤

Thanks, Lucy. I'd had had that wireless mouse for 11 yrs; and used it pretty hard; it was time to replace it. But, as with anything remotely "technological" it picked a very inconvenient time to "die" on me. Lol. And even though I didn't really go away, I'm very happy to posting again. ?

She's a short haired black cat,Julie and I named her 'Velvet' because of her fur being silky and shiny...Just don't let Lee Jordan see her you know he hates cats.
*staerted this Taco Tuesday with some tasty, non-alcoholic Mexican Coffee this morning; and had a non-alcoholic Margarita and a ground beef soft taco for dinner, earlier.*
*enjoyed watching the short film "Le Balloon Rouge" earlier today. Listened to the song "99 Red Balloons" afterwards. Lol.*
*has just heard news reports of a 4.0 earthquake in Lake Erie, in Northeast Ohio, at 10:50 A.M, that was felt in many counties, towns, cities, and suburbs, where her family and friend live--and beyond. No injuries, fatalities, or major damages yet reported. Thank God.*

I am, too. When I talked to my mom, she said she was fairly certain it was not any of our cats running around; but thought it might be thunder, a minor explosion at the nuclear power plant or construction work on bridge on a road a few miles away-- anything but an earthquake. Thanks, Lucy.
