enjoyed the holidays at home in Ohio...despite the unusually frigid temps..but is glad to be back in San Francisco.

found a good recipe for simple brown gravy and was happy with the result and will make a new batch of potatoes and gravy tomorrow.
was very happy with how the mashed potatoes turned out and is now looking for a good gravy recipe.
has bought a ricer and is going to make a "test" batch of mashed potatoes to see if they will be less "lumpy."
looks up her recipe for mashed potatoes and wonders if she should make them "loaded" or not.
is wearing a red poppy barrette on the right side of her head in honor of Remembrance/Veterans Day.
will be Pola Debeovoise from How to Marry a Millionaire for Halloween to show that men do make passes at girls who wear glasses.
