(( Popping in to say thank you for the character birthday wishes and to apologize for my lack of activity here. IRL came at me hard and fast... and it's still kind of going that way. Not sure when things will slow down here again, but I am certainly looking forward to when they do. ))

Yesterday, while watching a streamer, I learned something cool about the Eiffel Tower. The 72 names engraved on the Eiffel Tower belong to French scientists, engineers, and mathematicians who supported the building process. These golden letters are located on the first level (the lowest platform) of the tower, just beneath the balcony that runs around the structure.

Other things I learned about it: The stairs only go up to the 2nd floor. After that you have to take an elevator. The original spiral staircase was sold for scrap.
