I was alone in Paris, and was in a mood, so I created something. I sketched out la Notre Dame de Paris while in front of her, then added the figures later. This one was trapped in my head for a while, glad it's finally out.
Hey Chase ever thought of doing animation? Your art style would be brilliant for old school animation.
I can see it now...greyscale backgrounds with only carmen in colour.
She moves through each panel of artwork eith the detective in black chasing her.
Theme song can be the netflix carmen theme since it has a sultry noir vibe
@Joe Kerr, decent idea, the new Adobe Animate (formerly Flash) makes animation a lot easier than it used to be. I think I'd more lend my art style to an animation team, though, the discipline is completely different. If you ever come across somebody, let me know.
Beautifully conceived. It's as if you pulled the lady with the white umbrella straight from an Italian oil painting and into your arms. I would love to see this in front of San Marco Basilica, merely a thought, of course.
Yesterday, while watching a streamer, I learned something cool about the Eiffel Tower. The 72 names engraved on the Eiffel Tower belong to French scientists, engineers, and mathematicians who supported the building process. These golden letters are located on the first level (the lowest platform) of the tower, just beneath the balcony that runs around the structure.
Other things I learned about it: The stairs only go up to the 2nd floor. After that you have to take an elevator. The original spiral staircase was sold for scrap.
