As if they were friends, Lucy, Barbie is created on March 9, 1959, for Mattel, while Carmen is created on March 1, 1985, for Broderbund Software.

However, I've found it something with a software company called SoftKey International in which they did trade name the Learning Company after taking it over in 1995 and made a worst deal with Mattel in 1999.
