The key is manufacturing in space. Establish factories on the moon and then build factories to operate in space then build everything needed. The cost would be… astronomical but it must be done
That’s in line with my philosophy. If the world was rocky and barren the crust would be ground up and vital nutrients blended in to make soil for farming. This would require large machines to accomplish this down to a depth of at least six feet. But a farm world would be established to feed people.
