Furthermore The Apalachicola River flows from Georgia through Florida and into the Gulf of Mexico, and the other Apalachicola River originates in Florida and flows for about 50 miles before emptying into Lake Seminole. This can sometimes cause confusion for visitors and locals alike! -

Another fact about Silver Springs: They brought rhesus monkies there for the jungle cruise and thought they'd be trapped on the island. The people had no idea the animals were good swimmers and escaped. Now the monies can be found all along the river. -

Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)
