You don't understand, @Laverna this new trend has happened before they use different methods to mess up and some paintings and sculptures [including the Mona Lisa] get repeating get vandalize but restored several times and the ones who did this either pay or spend their time in prison. Look at the topic 'Vandalism of art' at Wikipedia if you don't believe me.
