Character Background
Scarlet grew up in a small town, longing for something more. One day, she was approached by a mysterious stranger who told her that she was destined for something more. That destiny seemed to be tied to ACME and VILE - and the elusive Carmen.

Her love of languages has helped her during her time at the Agency, even though she is only fluent in four, her free time is spent picking up important words in a variety of dialects.

Scarlet does not let on much about her past, but is happy to talk about the future. While that makes her seem mysterious, it is just because she does not know much about her past. As a result, she does not dwell upon what she is unaware of, fearing that it would lead her down dark roads. Instead, she strides confidently into the future even though she has no plans beyond the next six months. Everything will work out in the end for her.
Personality
Scarlet is mysterious and hard to get to know at first, but once she warms up to you she is much more sociable. She prefers to work alone, but is willing to work with other gumshoes and agents when necessary. She can be sarcastic and witty, but people don't usually get the personable side of her until they become close. First impressions lead people to believe that she is aloof or unfriendly, but that is not the case. She is unsure around new people and cautious about trusting people without cause.
Aspirations
Her dream is to one day meet Carmen - even though some see her as a villain. Scarlet sees her as misunderstood, and lonely. The clues and capers lead people on global chases, but they also cause them to become more erudite. While her methods may be questionable, Scarlet feels a strange connection to the thief that she is unable to explain. As she questions where she is going and who she wants to be - Scarlet knows that speaking to Carmen would help her determine her path.
Medium of Means
Though she usually uses her intellect, Scarlet has a bag of tricks that she brings along on every case. Her bag consists of a lock picking set, bug, atlas, pen, cryptex (for storing sensitive information) and translator app - just in case she finds herself in a country where she actually doesn't speak the language.

popularized by a Twitter account in 2010. It is named after the misunderstood giant in the 2003 film Big Fish. Older or alternative terms used locally include simply "the fog" or sometimes "Big Mama", Seasonal Names: It is often associated with the terms "June Gloom" or "Fogust" due to its prevalence in the summer months.

Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)
