Ororo's mother was a Kenyan princess named N'dare; who married an American photojournalist named David Munroe; and moved with him to Harlem, NY, USA, where Ororo was born. When Ororo was 2 months old, her parents moved back to Africa, settling in Cairo, Egypt. Five yrs. later, during a battle in the the on-going Arab-Israeli conflict, a plane crashed into their home, killing both her parents, leaving Ororo an orphan. Ororo was trapped the debris of her home next to her dead mother. These events were so traumatic, it made her claustrophobic.
Personality
Ororo is known for her peaceful, serene personality; and also for being caring and nurturing towards others when they need it. Ororo's powers can be influenced by her emotions, so Ororo has learned to control her emotions and her temper.
Aspirations
Ororo and the other groups she works with are all fighting for the day when all humans...mutant and non-mutants alike..can live together in peace.
Medium of Means
Besides her mutant powers, Ororo learned the skills of thievery, especially pickpocketing and lockpicking from Achmed El Gibar as a homeless orphan on the streets of Cairo. She is skilled at hand-to-hand combat, and combat with knives and guns, and often carries her lockpicking tools and a knife on her belt.

popularized by a Twitter account in 2010. It is named after the misunderstood giant in the 2003 film Big Fish. Older or alternative terms used locally include simply "the fog" or sometimes "Big Mama", Seasonal Names: It is often associated with the terms "June Gloom" or "Fogust" due to its prevalence in the summer months.
Did you know....the horns on the viking's helmets are a myth? The popular image of the "horned Viking" can be traced back to the 1870s. Costume designer Carl Emil Doepler created horned helmets for Richard Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen to enhance the characters' theatrical presence. (I BELIEVE in the Where in Time game, they tell us this too....)
