The best way to describe Deric is that he's two parts Danny McNamara (Blood & Treasure), one part Dirk Pitt (Sahara movie), one part "Faceman" Peck (Bradley Cooper version), and one part John Smith (Brad Pitt).
"Don't stress out about life, no one gets out alive anyway"
Born in Long Island, New York to Tim and Catherine Storm. Lost both parents at a young age. Raised by paternal grandparents in Fairview, Nebraska.
Joined ACME after graduating from Notre Dame (B.S in History) as part of an accelerated training program.
ACME Advanced Training Class No. 7 "The Berzerkers" (all characters listed are my creations, if you wish to borrow, please ask)
Mentor: Ilya Mouremitz (Former Soviet Military Police)
Class Roster:
Deric Storm, Shane Brooks, Christian Underwood, Rachel Phillips, Cameron Nelson, Brendan Smelling, Nick Hawking Claire Middleton, Ryan Fujita, Lisa Sparks
Personality
Confident, charismatic, and easy-going with snappy one-liners holstered and ready. Deric enforces the spirit of the rule more often than not, which makes it appear occasionally that he bucks authority.
Medium of Means
Prefers to use brains instead of CrimeNet. Not afraid to get into a fight. Has over ten years of training in Muay Thai on top of martial arts training in ACME's academy.
Prefers to carry two 9mm handguns on assignment. Otherwise, he uses whatever weapon he can find in the area.

i know the historical reason October was originally the 8th month of the Roman calendar. Then January and February were added to the calendar making October the 10th month. However October retained its original name.
((OOC: so, finally got a response from the motherboard seller... they're saying I got the wrong RAM... when I found the CMOS battery, there wasn't a millivolt of charge left (it was taped to the top of the I/O ports))
((IRL: so, tomorrow. mental health appointment... Wednesday is the foot clinic appointment... to see if the insoles are helping (hint: they aren't)... may end up in surgery to try and fix the hallax ridgus on my right foot... never had surgery before. I'm all OEM, so far))
((IRL: So, the new mega-tower works... actually, pretty sure it's worked for the last month. Every time I tried booting it, I had the TV on the wrong input. It's nice and fast... Threadripper 3950, 24-core, 48-threads, 3.8GHz with a Titan X video card, 2 1TB M.2s (one is boot drive), about 3.25TB between 4 HDDs. From when Win logo shows t o usable desktop, maybe 5 seconds))
((So... the big secret recently is... my folks got their eviction notice for smoking in the building... so, they have a meeting with the caretaker and HRA in the afternoon... I'll be there (we're in the same building). In their favor... the caretaker had a cop, and went to HRA without talking to the manager, so maybe that might be in their favor... dunno. so, things are up in the air right now.))
