@Charlet, stories are all they are, stories. In a way, you owe it to yourself, people who love you, and anyone that might be going through the same things to tell your story as you see it, no matter what. Don't let doubters convince you otherwise.
I actually want to do both. So I'd take Tibetan Mahayana in Nepal and Theravada in Cambodia. I think three months is the standard? I'm hoping to block out an entire year, doesn't seem possible given my current vacation time allotment.
