I am sorry I haven't been on as much as much as I've wanted lately. I'd like to say that it's due to something really great happening IRL, but that is not the case. I understand how you feel. We are all a little anxious when we post something new. Just post things when they are ready, and don't worry about pleasing others--just write a good story, that's all you can do.. ?

Are you losing interest in hanging around here ? ? Shattered is the first massive prose based story I've worked on since Devil's Blood and I didn't start into working on the story with that intent. I figured likely it would be longer than Snake Pit but shorter than Vocal Canvases.

It's gone pass VC and is coming up on, And the Forge of Hate for length. I'm bothered by knowing the effort is likely going to be wasted to make it as good a story as I can. I don't know how this forum will react to it. I have the feeling one of you guys unspoken as decided not to speak to me anymore. That person actually got a baby sized preview of the story, but never gave their thoughts to me about the clip.

I already know in advance it's going to be received how my work normally is on FF.net, no one is going to read it. I try to make people pleasers when I write. It's my goal the reader finishes the work presented and feels it was time well spent. Shattered, the story has to meet numerous goals. Link into Snake Pit and Vocal Canvases with ease.

Finally expand upon Carmen's character ( a matter which has been neglected before in the series ). Show where it's wedged into the AU's history, how that makes sense to what has already been written. Expand on ideas brought up before on the CS side of the AU. Blend together seamlessly elements from witwics, woeisc, and touch on Netflix to boot.

Define established characters more and build on newly presented ones. ... I have to write a before hand warning to content here before the story is shown. It feels like in advance the story won't have readers. ...especially with how it's connected art has been received ? .

No to worry, I'm not losing interest in being here; not when I'm in the middle of an important storyline for myself, here. Just bad time-management, that's all. So I do mini-stories with my statuses. I'm sure that happens with a lot of people here, too, especially if they're truly international. ?. ?

I hadn't thought of people using their status board for writing mini-stories. Until you said that I've always associated the forum's AU contained to threads and chat box sessions.
