I always felt like she was gen X, but if WOEICS has her 31st birthday in 95 then she's born in 64...but she is also gone from ACME for over 10 years at age 30 according to Hot Ice, which comes before Scavenger hunt, meaning she left ACME at 20. But then there's some anachronism because Retribution flashback happens in August of 85, so it seems like she arrested Maelstrom and immediately bounced.
Am I taking this too seriously? Probably. But also, she talks about playing chess every Christmas with the Chief and the Chief talks about giving her a home when he didn't even exist until the retribution episodes. So he didn't give her a home and at most she had like one Christmas with him and he wouldn't have even known her a full year before she split. I know they wrote this for children but come on...
actually a friend and i did all this sorted out. that was her one of 20 something birthdays and she was 17 when she put maelstrom behind bars. for some reason carmen is usually drawn much older and more manly in the older franchises. also trying to figure out her past is kind of hard especially with all the versions that lead no where.
nothing compared to my own backstory.
boomers are in their 70s and 80s now. i think carmen past is meant to lead to dead ends. i think chief just grew attached because he's really emotional. acme has teen detectives so carmen was most likely ivy's age during her days at acme, she left acme at 19 started vile at 20 which is where woeics starts,,,,
I go off the Woeics as my cannon so yeah the backstory is muddled but in the birthday episode she is turning 31, they show that. But you're right, it doesn't really matter. The other great mystery to me is why it seems like someone else voices her in Retribution. There's no credits indicting otherwise but I swear it's not Rita and tbh I think it could be Jennifer Hale in a lower voice than she uses for Ivy.
"In the original Carmen looks like a man. The original episodes all end the same, the new one has more characters, they all end differently and the art style is better"
