Wade Wilson's early life is relatively unknown. He had a brief stint in the military before starting his mercenary career while still in his late teens. He accepted assassinations jobs only against those whom he flt deserved death. Through various trials, Wilson was rejected from the Weapon X program and sent to Hospice, a government treatment facility for failed superman operatives. Unknown to the Canadian Government, Hospice experimented on their patients, with subjects placing bets in a 'deadpool' as to how long each one would live. Wilson was subject to various torturous experiments, shaping him into the mutant you know and love today.
Deadpool possess a superhuman healing factor that allows him to regenerate damaged or destroyed areas of his cellular structure. He can regrow severed limbs and vital organs. He is immune to poisons, most drugs and is resistant to diseases. This healing factor also contributes to his ability to generate considerably less fatigue toxins, granting him superhuman levels of stamina, strength, and agility.

- Deadpool is very comedic, although this appears to be due to the fact he is apparently insane.

- Deadpool is an extraordinary hand-to-hand combatant and is skilled in multiple unarmed combat techniques. He is a master of assassination techniques, is an excellent marksman, and is highly skilled with bladed weapons (frequently carrying two swords strapped to his back). He is fluent in Japanese, German, Spanish, amongst other languages.

Yesterday, while watching a streamer, I learned something cool about the Eiffel Tower. The 72 names engraved on the Eiffel Tower belong to French scientists, engineers, and mathematicians who supported the building process. These golden letters are located on the first level (the lowest platform) of the tower, just beneath the balcony that runs around the structure. -

Other things I learned about it: The stairs only go up to the 2nd floor. After that you have to take an elevator. The original spiral staircase was sold for scrap.

It's because it hinges on the idea that everyone wants to be ordinary (aka "normal") and that being anything other should be punishable socially. It stems from imperial modes of thinking that harm people not white-cis-straight-abled-perisex-etc because the idea of normal is centred on "some guy"-isms
