I think I've said before how training to be a comic artist is a craft I took up back in the 90's. Since that time because of how I treated that spare time. Drawing away on paper, nothing was digital to my work during that period. I now forever associate some music albums to comic work. Example I have no idea how many times back then I heard Soundgarden Superunknown, for one while making these homemade comic books. Bought a few years back on iTunes, I automatically think I must be working on panels if I'm listening to it or one of a number of other albums re-purchased for convenient cloud storage.

A few days ago I decided to target re-buying one of these albums, I've discovered is super rare. Just darn it, you can't even find all the .mp3s for purchase as a separate to buy fact. The fact of this being another album I listened to lord knows how many times in my teens, being hard to get, has made me more determined to get my hands on it.

Since just about everyone here is a writer. I was wondering if you too have music albums your brain now has the pavlovian dog effect happen to it when listening to about work.

Not really. I don't usually listen to music when I am writing things, mostly because I find it hard to think if I do.

Me either. Music is distracting to me and I ironically start thinking of differ story scenarios and can’t work on the one I’m writing.

The music depends. There are times when it really helps and other times when it's too distracting for me to use while I'm writing.

I'd say 99% of the time I too don't listen to music as I'm writing. I can't work with generated audio happening, since I have a disorder in my brain that makes serious concentration impossible during that. But I have observed many people don't have the same issue as I do. So I assumed they wouldn't be wanting nothingness in their ears while working.

Drawing & coloring is an instant skill set to me I guess you could say, and that's why things like music, TV ect. don't cause concentrating problems.
