I had a hard time shopping for this year's Secret Santa assignment. After all, it's difficult to find anything for a man who includes 'work' as a main hobby.

To @Chase, even robots need to recharge sometimes. This fully reclining office chair will let you sneak in a power nap while still keeping an one eye on your team.

And, here is a geometric terrarium to serve as a holding place for your little friends as they fly or flutter in and out of your life:

Deric entered the abandoned warehouse warily. According to one of his confidential informants, this was where the VILE henchman known as "Flag" was hiding out.

For some reason, Deric had been chosen to bring the man a gift for the holidays as a possibility of getting him to offer them some info on his boss.

'Why me?' Deric asked himself for what seemed like the thousandth time. All the farmboy knew about his target was what he had heard from some of VILE fellow henchmen when they assaulted Kamchatka a couple years ago. Some said he was an alien, others said he was a demon, others had even more bizarre theories.

However, one thing they all agreed on was Flag was very big on magic. 'Everybody needs a hobby,' Deric thought as he came across an area of the warehouse that did look like someone had been inhabiting it. Seeing no one around, and starting to get a little creeped out thinking about some of those more bizarre theories he had heard, Deric put the box and card in the middle of the inhabited area.

"Flag",

This is a gift from ACME to you in the hopes you may consider a working relationship in the future in exchange for possible immunity from your previous crimes with VILE. We heard you like magic. Have a happy Holiday.

Thanks you kindly take me up on arcade raid sometime? I am also good at the coin pushers, and token jumpers. As well as the well lets say chaser light token drop ones.

Euge's senses revolted as he picked up the glittery object. Normally he would be loudly protesting the so-called fashionable appropriation of such a utilitarian item, but in this case it was somehow right.

I just heard on the news they're going to have to remove the Sakura trees in Washington because of damage to a sea wall. They have to build a sea wall and replant new trees.

@Lucy ... don't know if you really want wolf spiders in your home... I'd go for jumping spiders, they can't bite... wolf spiders are the fast movers, and they can bite.

((Will lose my ACP internet towards the end of the month, unless anyone knows about it ending sooner. Trying to switch my Lifeline phone to a better provider that doesn't shut me off after four and a half gigs of data, nothing but failure so far and "call here" and "it's on their end" and the back and forth crap... in the morning, it's time to demand the supervisor and might even get to harsh language (after three days of that). I plan to use the Lifeline phone tethered as Internet source, share that to my own router... I've done it before (it's messy, and not 100% effective, but it works). ))

((The 'net is the main way to apply for jobs now, so I need that, and I've moved/changed Lifeline providers before without an issue, so no idea what the problem is. I have active Verizon through ACP, active Lifeline through Airtalk... is that somehow the issue? If anyone knows, please let me know before I tear someone a new one (ya know what I mean). After three days of this, and two days about a month ago, I'm ready to walk there with katana in hand.))
