For Invader: Abolene Butterfly Necklace, handcrafted by Balinese artisans, using sterling silver artwork, and abolene shell. This butterfly represents new beginnings. A Javanese superstition holds that as one sleeps, one's soul exits the body in the form of a butterfly. Butterfly (Pendant) 1 1/2 in. W x 1 in. long. Adjustable, link style chain, 17-19 inches. (I think you can remove the pendant if you want to.)

Neb sat on the roof of the San Franciscan apartment building she lived in, a small box in hand. Down the hill the Accolade rose, a beacon of justice and the citadel of her supposed nemeses. She enjoyed living in its shadow, if only because it reminded her of a life that technically never was. They could not remember her, even as déjà vu, for she'd been careful then to keep her face covered.

    Except one.

"I wasn't sure you would, but you are one of the four who should, after all."

The woman removed a labradorite bracelet from the box and held it cupped in her hands, then held it up to the light.

She didn't know his train of thought behind the bracelet, but it immediately sparked her own. In the dim of her hands the stones were grey and unassuming, but when the light touched them they came alive with ethereal blues and greens, so much like that which woke beneath her skin as she worked.

Neb slipped the bracelet onto her left wrist and admired how the colours shifted below the protective grey. Then she looked out upon the coming fog and smiled.

"We'll meet again someday, old man..."

For Jade: Indian Tassel Bracelets, Set of 3, Dark Blue, with Gold Threads Wrapped Around the Bracelets - For Indian Muslims, the tassels in these bracelets ward off the "evil eye." For Hindus, it brings to mind the mangalsutra, a knotted cord that is part of many couples' wedding ceremonies. Stretches to fit most most wrists. (National Geographic Online/Jewelry/Gifts)
For Sam: a $10 gift card that can be redeemed at any PetCo. near you. :)
