Jason picked up a backpack from under his desk and gently placed it atop his desk. He then turned around and pulled out a large drawer from a series of cabinets that had been built into the wall of his office. Jason proceeded to activate the biometric lock and open the lid that covered the drawer. He quickly retrieved a hard-sided case from the drawer and closed the lid of the drawer before gently closing the drawer.

"Is everyone ready to go?" Jason asked.

When Julie saw that Jason was getting ready to leave, she looked through both the items in her ready bag, and in her purse on more time before she said,"Yes. I'm ready to go." :)

"I am quite ready, perhaps I can lean something from all of you." Replied Kristine.

She was carrying a small mini backpack, with everything she might need. This could be most interesting to watch, and partake in.

"Yes," said Julie,"one of the coolest things about being with ACME is that we all have knowledge that we can share...and we all have a lot of things we can learn from each other, too."

As Julie was talking, Detective Discovery wad looking through her backpack one last time, to make sure she had everything she needed. After all, she hadn't planned on going on this little adventure today.

"Do you have everything you need, Discovery?" The young Junior Detective nodded with a little bit of shyness...and enthusiasm. "Good. And I might be able to lend you some of the things you might need, too."

Julie nodded, and said,"Good. Let's go." :)

The four of them gathered together in the parking garage, and soon climbed into a small van of sorts. West was driving, with Julie in the passenger seat, Discovery and Kristine headed to the back. There were a few things to remove before they could sit down, and Kristine joked they could just tie her to the roof. Once in the van, they headed to the harbor where a boat would be waiting..

Jason pulled the van into a parking space and grabbed his things from the van before making his way over to the RHIB that would be taking them to the island in question.

Julie got out of the van, and went around to the back. She opened the door. She looked at Discovery and Invader in the backseat and said,"OK, we're here."

"Invader and I have been getting to know each other," Discovery said. Julie was a bit surprised that the shy Junior Detective was beginning to open up a bit. She looked at Discovery and smiled and said, "That's good."

"Come on, lets go, Julie said, and Julie, Discovery, and Invader walked quickly to catch up to Jason. :)

Kristine walked up to the boat and looked it over with curiosity. Once she caught up, Kristine sat in the back of the boat. Discovery sat next to her, and talked with her for a bit. West and Julie sat in the front, soon they were headed off to their destination. While zipping through the water, Kristine seemed rather happy being on a boat. There was just something, about the spray of water and wind.

Jason had preset the coordinates into the navigation system of the inflatable boat and was making his way to the island where the man who left the note in the bottle was thought to have swam to. As they made landfall in the boat, Jason began to look and listen for signs of someone being on the island.

As convenient...and necessary...as it often was for ACME agents to use the C-5 corridor when working to solve a crime, it was also kind of fun to have a case where every part of it was an adventure, and Julie had enjoyed the ride over in the boat. Cautious, as usual...Julie got out of the boat, and began to walk around a little, carefully observing the surroundings for clues... :)

(Even though I'm not part of the story thanks for putting the C-5 corridor as a little tribute of what ACME agents did... Excuse me!)

Kristine followed Julie for a short distance till something caught her eye. Clinging to a bit of shrub was fabric of some sort, it was a bit dark and faded. Perhaps the wind had blown it, or a bird might have taken it to use as nesting material.

"Mr.West I found something." She called, hoping it would help them.

@Lucy ... don't know if you really want wolf spiders in your home... I'd go for jumping spiders, they can't bite... wolf spiders are the fast movers, and they can bite.

((Will lose my ACP internet towards the end of the month, unless anyone knows about it ending sooner. Trying to switch my Lifeline phone to a better provider that doesn't shut me off after four and a half gigs of data, nothing but failure so far and "call here" and "it's on their end" and the back and forth crap... in the morning, it's time to demand the supervisor and might even get to harsh language (after three days of that). I plan to use the Lifeline phone tethered as Internet source, share that to my own router... I've done it before (it's messy, and not 100% effective, but it works). ))

I have active Verizon through ACP, active Lifeline through Airtalk... is that somehow the issue? If anyone knows, please let me know before I tear someone a new one (ya know what I mean). After three days of this, and two days about a month ago, I'm ready to walk there with katana in hand.))
